News from Youth for Christ:

Jerry (leader of Newmarket and District Youth for Christ) writes:

Hi Folks, I trust that you are all feel and know the ‘Love and Peace’ of God at this very challenging time? I have been encouraged and blessed at how well we have gone from an office based, ‘Face to Face’, in school and youth group settings, to a work from ‘home’ online ‘virtually’ connected working environment. I thank all our staff and Exec for their patience, resilience, perseverance and determination in making this happen!

Alison writes:

I am currently enjoying more time for prayer and bible study; reading the book of Acts and making comparisons to the early church and how we are birthing a new style of church, evangelism and specifically our Youth for Christ schools and youth work. I do love a challenge so finding new ways to make Jesus known has given me focus as I hone my skills in zoom, skype, messenger, social media and try to learn film production skills. Adapting lessons and assembly ideas so that they can be shared with schools for their on-line classrooms is time consuming but I am sure that all these new skills will continue to be useful. Thank you for your continued support, Alison
